Our mission

A welcoming place to learn the language and carry the culture forward

WV Chinese Academy was founded by local families who wanted their children to grow up speaking Mandarin and knowing where it comes from. Today we teach students of every background, from first words to heritage speakers preparing for the AP exam, in classrooms where patience and curiosity come first.

  • Certified teachers with classroom and heritage-speaker experience
  • Curriculum aligned to ACTFL proficiency levels and the AP exam
  • Festivals, performances and service projects open to the whole community

Enrollment for the new term is open

Classes fill quickly, and placement is easier when we can talk before the first day. Tell us a little about your student and we will follow up within two school days.
